Building a Great Fall -- Letter From the President

As we gear up for the Fall Season, I hope that each of you had a great summer: family vacations, grilling good food, and home improvements. We have entered the exciting season of back-to-school. Best of luck to all of your children and grandchildren who are going back to school.

The changes around us, whether social, political, technological, scientific, economic or otherwise, require that we help our clients navigate through new and increasingly complex construction projects. This profoundly impacts the companies for which we work, our communities, and the profession at large. Our terrific community of CSI professionals is a network on which I have become increasingly reliant when facing these new challenges and opportunities.

We continue to have strong leadership as I am supported by Vice President Jimmy Wickham, Secretary Glen Reimer, Treasurer Kyle Dobbins, Trey Rowe, and Alan Tuck that serve as Board of Directors. We are a strong and healthy chapter both financially and functionally. A couple of my goals this year are to really re-engage with our membership as a true asset to the chapter and grow more membership.

We are lining up exciting programs as we will be getting out more details on the website soon.

I would like to welcome our new members from the membership shift that happened at the beginning of July. We are very excited to have you as part of our Chapter and look forward to meeting you and connecting with you.

A great way to enrich your membership is to get involved. We have lots of opportunities for engagement and have great benefits in regards to educational topics and certification programs. Feel free to reach out to me with ideas, wants, hopes, dreams, and/or skills. We look forward to seeing you in the fall and hope you have had a great summer!
